Job description

Lead with purpose. Create lasting impact.

At Spectrum, we believe in empowering people from migrant and refugee backgrounds to thrive in Australia. As a not-for-profit organisation, we deliver culturally responsive services in settlement, family support, aged care, and social inclusion—primarily across Melbourne’s Northwest.

We’re looking for a values-driven leader to champion quality and governance across our organisation. If you're passionate about creating meaningful change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

What You’ll Do

  • Empower teams through clear direction, active support, coaching, and professional development.
  • Drive the design and implementation of the Quality Management Framework and Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Support strategic improvement initiatives in partnership with senior leaders.
  • Oversee risk management, compliance, privacy, and internal audit programs.
  • Facilitate effective governance through leadership of operational committees and reporting to executive and board-level stakeholders.
  • Build strong internal and external partnerships to enhance service outcomes.

About You

You’re a thoughtful and strategic leader who brings:

  • Proven experience in quality, governance, and compliance
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning
  • Passion for purpose-led work and community impact
  • Attention to detail, with strong discernment capability

Why Spectrum?

  • Purpose-led organisation supporting diverse communities
  • Supportive and inclusive leadership culture
  • Opportunities for growth and innovation
  • A chance to make a real and lasting impact

Flexible work, not-for-profit salary packaging, parking, and more.
