Job summary

JR Richards & Sons is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to establish and lead a newly created procurement function, reporting directly to the CFO. Qualifications

• Qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business or Finance or related field.
• Proven track record in procurement, strategic sourcing and contract management.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience developing procurement policies, governance frameworks and reporting processes.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries such as waste management, transport, logistics, infrastructure or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Company's procurement strategy and governance framework.
• Lead strategic sourcing, RFQ and tender processes for OPEX and CAPEX.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage supplier relationships.
• Drive cost savings, value improvement and procurement controls.
• Monitor procurement spends, compliance and reporting outcomes.
• Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Fleet, IT, Finance and HR.
