Job summary

Colonial First State (CFS) is seeking a dynamic leader to drive private wealth growth and distribution strategy from Sydney. You will accelerate growth across funds under administration, adviser adoption, and market share while expanding relationships with High Net Worth and wholesale advisers.

You will partner with product and investment teams to enhance private wealth offerings, engage senior stakeholders, and shape a scalable operating model.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in wealth management, platform distribution or investment consulting.
• Strong network across advisory firms, wealth managers and family offices.
• Proven ability to drive commercial growth and partnerships.

• Acquire, onboard and grow relationships with HNW, UHNW and wholesale-focused advisers.
• Build trusted relationships with principals, CIOs and wealth executives.

• Represent CFS at industry events to strengthen brand presence.
• Build strategic relationships with asset managers and private market providers.

Your Team

This role sits within our Distribution team and will be responsible for accelerating growth across CFS Edge, Non-Custodial Administration Services, Wholesale Managed Accounts (SMAs) and Private Markets solutions, while building a strong industry presence and ecosystem of strategic partners. As a newly created leadership role, the successful candidate will play a critical role in designing the future team structure, coverage model and go-to-market strategy for this important growth segment.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute CFS's private wealth growth strategy, driving growth across funds under administration, adviser adoption and market share.
• Acquire, onboard and grow relationships with High Net Worth, Ultra High Net Worth and wholesale-focused advice firms.
• Build trusted relationships with advice principals, CIOs, investment committees, wealth executives and other key market stakeholders.
• Champion the needs of private wealth clients across the business and support the development of relevant products, platforms and propositions.
• Partner with product, investments and platform teams to enhance CFS's private wealth offering and support market adoption.
• Represent CFS at industry events, conferences and specialist wealth forums to strengthen brand presence and market credibility.
• Build strategic relationships with asset managers, private market providers, technology partners and industry influencers.
• Develop a scalable operating model, future team structure and high-performance culture focused on growth, innovation and client outcomes.

Your Capability and Experience

• Significant experience in wealth management, platform distribution, private wealth or investment consulting.
• Strong network across advice firms, wealth managers, family offices and investment professionals.
• Demonstrated success in driving commercial growth and strategic partnerships.
• Deep understanding of the Australian advice and private wealth market.
• Highly commercial, relationship-driven and strategic in approach.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through change.
