St Patrick's College, Strathfield, invites applications for Head of PDHPE to lead curriculum, teaching and learning across Years 5–12. The role focuses on strategic leadership, curriculum oversight, assessment and staff development within a Catholic school community.

We seek an exceptional educator with proven leadership, strong communication, and a deep commitment to student wellbeing and achievement. The appointment is a permanent full-time position with promotion potential through 2027–2029.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and NESA accreditation to teach PDHPE from Stage 3 to Stage 6, with at least five years of teaching experience.
• Bronze Level Examiner accreditation with RLSSA and current Advanced First Aid certification.
• Proven experience leading a professional team and delivering proactive, high-quality leadership and management of a faculty.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum planning, implementation, assessment and evaluation across Years 5–12 in PDHPE.
• Provide high-quality instructional leadership and staff development for the PDHPE department.
• Collaborate with College leaders and Co-curricular Team to support student participation and achievement.
