Job summary

ANZUK Education are partnered with a leading Independent School in Sydney's northern suburbs to appoint a dynamic Head of Mathematics who will lead a high-performing department and champion academic excellence.

The role includes 0.3FTE release for leadership, a pathway to influence curriculum, and a competitive salary package. You will hold Maths teaching qualifications, have leadership experience, and be eligible for NESA registration.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualifications with a specialisation in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Senior Mathematics and/or leadership experience.
• NESA Accreditation or the ability to obtain registration.
• Valid & paid Working with Children’s Check.
• Ability to nominate two referees prior to offer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mathematics department to champion excellence in teaching and learning.
• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to staff.
• Collaborate with the school to drive curriculum and student outcomes.

Requirements
