HWLE invites a senior marketing leader to join as Head of Marketing and Communications, reporting to the CMO. You will oversee the integrated marketing and communications function, bringing together brand, thought leadership, digital marketing, social media and design to elevate HWLE's profile and support ambitious growth.

You will partner with the leadership team to deliver compelling campaigns, strengthen market positioning and ensure a consistent client experience across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience across marketing, communications, brand, content or digital within professional services or complex stakeholder environments.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver integrated marketing and communications strategies that support growth.
• Experience leading brand strategy, positioning and value proposition development.
• Delivery of thought leadership, content and profile-building initiatives to strengthen brand recognition.

The opportunity

HWLE has an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing leader to join our national team as Head of Marketing and Communications.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead the firm's integrated marketing and communications function, bringing together brand, communications, thought leadership, digital marketing, social media and design to elevate HWLE's profile and support the firm's ambitious growth strategy.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you will partner closely with the firm's leadership team, practice groups and partners to develop compelling campaigns, strengthen market positioning and ensure a consistent and engaging client experience across all touchpoints.

You will lead a high-performing team and play a key role in shaping how Australia's largest legal partnership presents itself to clients, the market and our people.

To succeed in this role, ideally, you'll have

• Significant senior leadership experience across marketing, communications, brand, content or digital functions within a professional services or complex stakeholder environment.
• Demonstrated success developing and delivering integrated marketing and communications strategies that support commercial growth and organisational objectives.
• Proven experience leading brand strategy, positioning and value proposition development.
• Strong experience delivering thought leadership, content and profile-building initiatives that strengthen brand recognition and client engagement.
• Expertise across digital marketing, social media, websites and communications channels.
• Experience leading major campaigns and managing sensitive communications, stakeholder considerations and reputation matters.
• Highly developed commercial acumen, with the ability to connect marketing initiatives to client needs and business outcomes.
• Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, with confidence influencing senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• A data-informed approach, using insights and performance measures to continually improve results.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
