Job summary

Masada College in Sydney's NSW invites applications for the Head of Learning & Teaching – ELC to Year 6. This senior instructional leadership role drives curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and professional learning across the Early Learning Centre and Junior School to ensure every student achieves their potential.

The successful candidate will lead culture of thinking, support teachers with coaching and data-informed practice, and ensure continuity into the Senior School, while modelling

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in junior school environments.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment review.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and review of a coherent curriculum across ELC–Year 6.
• Oversee planning, administration and review of assessments and reporting.
• Analyse student data to identify trends and inform teaching approaches.
• Lead professional learning, coaching and collaboration across staff.
• Ensure continuity from ELC through Year 6 into the Senior School.
• Manage resources and budget in line with College procedures.
• Deputise for the Head of Junior School as required.
