Job summary

The Head of Junior School at Tyndale Salisbury East is a senior leadership role commencing 18 January 2027. You will shape Christian education, oversee teaching, wellbeing, staff development and school operations, and partner with the Campus Principal to drive improvement and faithful contextual learning across the Junior School.

Based at Salisbury East, the role is 1.0 FTE and requires unyielding integrity, strategic vision and a commitment to servant leadership within a Christ-centred learning

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and educational leadership for the Junior School within a Christ-centred learning environment.
• Lead excellence in teaching, learning, curriculum development and student achievement.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and high academic standards.
• Promote student wellbeing, pastoral care and positive behaviour.
• Build and develop high-performing teams through staff recruitment, mentoring and professional development.
• Collaborate with the Campus Principal to deliver the School's vision, strategic goals and improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the effective operation and management of the Junior School, including budgeting, compliance and resource management.
• Develop strong partnerships with students, families, staff and the wider community.
• Champion Christian education and promote the School's mission, values and reputation.
• Lead a safe, healthy and supportive learning and working environment.
