Job summary

Lower Murray Water is seeking a Head of Program Management to lead the Capital Works Program, delivering infrastructure projects across the region. You will oversee planning, scheduling and delivery, providing governance, risk management and continuous improvement.

The role requires engineering and project delivery experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders, consultants and contractors while ensuring safety and sustainable outcomes for communities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil preferred) or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in engineering, project management and infrastructure delivery.
• Proven leadership experience with high-performing teams.
• Experience managing capital works programs, contracts and portfolios.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build productive stakeholder relationships.
• Commitment to safety, sustainability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Lower Murray Water's Capital Works Program.
• Manage a portfolio of projects across time, cost, quality and risk.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting and reporting.
• Provide engineering leadership and technical guidance across project delivery activities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and delivery partners.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery and organisational capability.
• Lead and develop Program Managers and delivery teams.
• Support governance and compliance across the capital works portfolio.
