Job description

Our client is a growing funds management business seeking a Head of Fund Operations who will be responsible for end-to-end management of the fund operations function, including unit pricing, fund accounting, and trade execution oversight. This role will also focus on strengthening operational controls, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team, fostering high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee daily fund operations including NAV calculation, unit pricing, tax provisioning, and investment execution.
• Ensure operational processes meet business requirements and support growth and scalability.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies across fund operations.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners including custodians, fund managers, brokers, and clearing agents.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (APRA/ASIC) and internal governance policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years’ experience in fund operations
• Proven experience leading and developing a team in a high-volume operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of unit pricing, NAV calculations, and APRA guidance.
• Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and transformation
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
