Job summary

Perigon Group Pty Limited in Sydney is seeking a finance leader to take charge of a growing finance function at a pivotal milestone. The role acts as trusted advisor to a visionary real estate leader, overseeing financial control, treasury, and cashflow management to support expansion.

You will inherit two long-standing staff with the potential to hire another Accountant, shaping the finance team’s future and pursuing a broader CFO mandate within a dynamic investment platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in property, funds management, construction or property development.
• Understanding of fund accounting and fund structures is preferred.
• Ambition to build a finance function and progress towards CFO mandate.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial control, operational accounting, cashflow management and treasury.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting and support ad-hoc business analysis.
• Implement processes in systems to support future expansion.
• Inherit two long-standing staff with potential to hire an additional Accountant.

This is a genuine opportunity to take charge of a finance function in a key juncture of the business' success as it nears a major milestone in it's growth.

This role is will act as a trusted advisor to a visionary and highly successful real estate leader in Sydney. Assuming responsibility for financial control, operational accounting, cashflow management and treasury, budgeting and forecasting and support ad-hoc business analysis. And, the implementation of processes in systems to support future expansion

You will inherit two long-standing staff with the immediate opportunity to hire an additional Accountant, thus providing an ideal platform to influence the future outlook of your team whilst maintaining stability

• CA or CPA qualification
• Experience in property, funds management, construction / property development
• Understanding of fund accounting and fund structures is preferred
• Most importantly, the ambition to build a finance function and progress towards a broader CFO mandate
