Job summary

anzuk Education are supporting a high performing Independent School in Sydney's North in their search for a Head of English to commence in 2027. The role oversees curriculum, assessment and teaching & learning within the faculty and leads a team of five staff.

This position attracts a level 2 financial allowance. Requirements include English teaching qualifications, NESA accreditation or ability to obtain registration, a paid Working with Children Check, and the ability to nominate two referees

Qualifications

• Teaching qualifications with a specialisation in English and / or English Literature
• NESA Accreditation or the ability to obtain registration
• Valid & paid working with children’s check
• Prior to a formal offer, being able to nominate two referees from your current or recent employment

The Role

Overseeing a team of 5 staff, the Head of English will be responsible for overseeing curriculum, assessment and teaching & learning within the faculty. This position attracts a level 2 financial allowance.
