Globe 24-7, in collaboration with a highly successful, global, Perth headquartered, mining consulting firm, is seeking a Head of Data Management (Geology), in an exciting newly created role.

Position Overview

This is your chance to shape global data management, and its digitisation, for this long established organisation.

Our client runs a highly collaborative and friendly team, who work on a flexible basis; two days from home and three in the office; from their global headquarters in trendy Fremantle.

Boasting a varied client base, exclusively in mining, our client provides geological data management for some of the world's leading explorers, juniors, mid-tiers, and beyond.

This role will suit a qualified geologist or mining engineer looking for a corporate position and that elusive work/life balance in the mining industry.

Consulting or mining 'product' experience is not important, but we are particularly interested to hear from qualified geologists or mining engineers with operations experience and some exposure to data management; particularly database management, data integrity, and workflow automation.

Your role will be to manage a small global team that interfaces with the company's client base and brings ideas and change to data automation and the digital vision of the company's products and offerings.
