Job summary

Siemens AG in Australia is seeking a Head of Engineering to steer technical direction and engineering excellence for our Data Centre business. You will own integrated power solutions across MV/LV, PTUs, switchgear and Busway, assuring delivery to mission-critical standards.

We are looking for a leader with deep experience in data centre or critical infrastructure projects, registered engineering status, and a passion for cross-disciplinary governance, safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Registered Engineer status (CPEng/NER or equivalent state registration).
• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to translate complex system integration into engineering direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team across MV, LV, PTU, and Busway design.
• Act as the technical authority for integrated power solutions including protection, control & automation.
• Review, supervise and approve engineering design documentation under Registered Engineer authority.
• Develop productised, standardised, scalable design solutions for data centre applications.
• Engage with consulting engineers and design houses to influence equipment specifications.
• Partner with tendering, delivery and solution architecture to embed engineering expertise across bids.
• Champion zero-harm safety culture and ensure compliance with standards.
