Job summary

Capstone Recruitment seeks a senior General Manager, Corporate Communications to lead and build the corporate communications function for a high-growth Australian infrastructure and property business.

You will shape the corporate narrative, protect and enhance reputation, and work with executives, Investor Relations, Legal, Marketing and external advisers in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Significant corporate communications or corporate affairs experience.
• Experience within ASX-listed, infrastructure, property, energy, or similarly complex corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and listed-company communications.
• Experience working with Investor Relations, Legal and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the corporate communications and reputation strategy.
• Own and evolve the organisation's corporate narrative.
• Advise senior executives on communications.
• Lead relationships with financial, business and corporate media.
• Manage communications risk, reputation, issues and crisis management.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations, Legal and external advisers on market-sensitive communications.
• Support capital markets communications for potential listed-company environment.
• Establish governance, approval and communications processes.
• Partner with Brand and Marketing for consistent external communications.
• Build and develop the corporate communications function and external agency relationships.
