Job summary

City of Yarra Library Services seeks a Library Team Leader (Children’s and Youth Services) to join the Library Leadership Team in Melbourne. The role combines branch leadership at Collingwood Library with service-wide leadership of programs for children, young people and families, guiding staff and shaping services.

You will drive early literacy programs, build strong school and community partnerships, and contribute to strategy and continuous improvement while working flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day branch leadership at Collingwood Library and service-wide programs for children, young people and families.
• Provide specialist expertise to staff in planning, delivery and evaluation of high-quality services for kids and youth.
• Develop early literacy initiatives and partnerships with schools, kindergartens, childcare providers and community organisations.
• Contribute to library-wide strategy and continuous improvement to meet community needs.
