Overview

As the Head of Audit, Credit Risk, you will lead the strategic execution of Audit’s assurance to senior stakeholders and the Board, to deliver insights that support strong Credit Risk Management at NAB.

Responsibilities
  • Set Internal Audit’s vision, innovating to deliver assurance that is best in market, and ensuring the team is engaged.
  • Utilise your business acumen in this diverse leadership role.
  • Key Internal Audit leadership role with an opportunity to lead a new team of credit risk subject matter experts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry peers, global counterparts and internal stakeholders to maintain knowledge of emerging risks and best practice.
  • Develop a forward-looking Credit Risk audit plan and oversee the execution of the plan.
  • Represent Audit in first line risk forums/committees.
  • Contribute to strategic assurance initiatives to ensure Audit is delivering assurance that is best in market, integrating AI, automation, data analytics, and continuous monitoring to deliver scalable, risk-focused audits.
  • Lead, coach and mentor the portfolio audit team, foster technical capability development, innovation, and a high-performance culture.
  • Provision of Credit Risk audit insights and advice to Audit Executives, Senior Management through to the Board Risk and Board Audit committees.
