Job summary

Preacta Recruitment in Sydney is seeking a Head of Applied AI - Fraud to own the architecture and delivery of a real-time detection platform operating at scale. You will shape the system and lead a team building the platform to combat fraud at pace.

This senior role combines hands-on technical work with building a high-performing team; you’ll drive MLOps practices, mentor engineers, and recruit top talent to scale the platform.

There are plenty of companies who bolt AI onto old detection systems. This one is rebuilding the platform from the ground up to be AI-first.

This is a senior leadership role with real scope. You'll own the architecture and delivery of a real-time detection platform operating at massive scale, and build the team that makes it work. It suits a technical leader who still gets into the detail, and who's more energised by building the platform than managing the roadmap around it.
