Zurich Insurance Group seeks a Head of Product Platform – AI & Data to lead strategy, roadmap and delivery of enterprise AI and data platforms. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer within Technology & Transformation, you will shape platform capabilities enabling scalable AI and data solutions, with governance and value delivery.

This senior role combines product thinking with technical depth, leading two platform teams and partnering across the business to drive sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership across AI/Data/analytics or platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architecture, cloud-native services and platform operating models.
• Experience with AWS and modern AI/Data tech (Generative AI, Agentic AI, Snowflake, DataOps, MLOps, dbt).
• Product and delivery mindset with ability to shape roadmaps and investments.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence across the organisation.
• Excellent executive communication and commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI and Data platform strategy, roadmaps, and investment priorities.
• Enable AI/Data squads with scalable, self-service capabilities and patterns.
• Drive evolution of AI platform (AWS, AgentCore, governance, deployment).
• Lead Data platform evolution (Snowflake, DataOps, real-time capabilities).
• Lead two platform teams across AI and Data, fostering maturity and collaboration.
• Build partnerships across engineering, digital, security, risk and business leadership.
