ALH Hotels is seeking a Head of Accommodation to lead its national portfolio across 118 sites and ~2,780 rooms. You will drive revenue, guest experience, and operational excellence while shaping brand strategy and the investment pipeline.

You will lead a specialist team, align with Operations, Marketing, Digital and Finance, and identify growth opportunities through data-driven insights. This is a high-impact, executive role with responsibility across a diverse network.

Job Description

• Lead a national accommodation portfolio spanning 118 sites and approximately 2,780 rooms
• Drive commercial performance, guest experience and operational excellence across Nightcap, Nightelier and our wider accommodation network
• Shape the future of ALH accommodation, influencing brand strategy, investment and an exciting pipeline of renewals and developments

As Head of Accommodation reporting into the GM of Food, Beverage and Accommodation, you'll lead the strategic direction, commercial performance and ongoing evolution of ALH Hotels' national accommodation portfolio, spanning our Nightcap and Nightelier brands and unbranded accommodation network.

Leading a specialist national team, you'll focus on maximising revenue and profitability, enhancing the guest experience and driving operational improvements across our diverse portfolio. This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact across one of Australia's most geographically diverse accommodation portfolios, combining the commercial challenge of optimising an established business with the opportunity to shape its future growth, investment and development.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Lead the national accommodation strategy, driving commercial performance and the continued evolution of our Nightcap, Nightelier and unbranded accommodation portfolio.
• Maximise revenue and profitability, developing strategies to improve REVPAR, occupancy, yield and distribution performance across the network.
• Drive operational improvements and guest experience, working closely with hotel operations to simplify processes, strengthen service standards and improve customer outcomes.
• Lead and develop a specialist accommodation team, spanning revenue and distribution, business development, accommodation support and brand management.
• Shape our accommodation investment and development pipeline, identifying opportunities for renewals, repositioning and future growth through commercial insights and analysis.
• Build strong partnerships across Operations, Marketing, Digital and Finance, influencing stakeholders to deliver initiatives that enhance commercial performance and the guest proposition.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you:

• Extensive leadership experience across a multi-site accommodation portfolio, ideally within an established hotel, accommodation or multi-brand hospitality business.
• Strong commercial acumen and P&L experience, with a demonstrated track record of improving accommodation revenue, REVPAR, occupancy and profitability.
• Broad understanding of accommodation operations, including revenue management, distribution, sales, guest experience and the systems supporting hotel operations.
• Proven ability to lead and influence across a geographically dispersed business, building relationships with operational teams and senior stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
• A practical, improvement-focused leadership approach, with experience using commercial data, customer insights and technology to improve performance and operational efficiency.
• Experience supporting accommodation renewals, refurbishment, repositioning or development would be highly regarded, alongside the ability to identify and evaluate future growth opportunities.
