Job summary

Endeavour Group is seeking a Head Chef for Tavern at the Rocks in Guilderton, WA. You will lead a hands-on kitchen, shaping menus and ensuring excellent pub classics for guests on a daily basis.

You will manage operations, safety, and profitability while mentoring the kitchen team and collaborating with FOH and Publican to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a kitchen team.
• Trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications.
• Ability to keep kitchen operations safe, efficient and profitable.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage kitchen operations to deliver high-quality pub classics.
• Collaborate with Publican and FOH team to drive performance.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing kitchen team.
• Maintain strong link between kitchen and front of house to ensure smooth service.

Base Salary from $85,000 + Super + Bonus + Group Wide Discounts

We're searching for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the Tavern at the Rocks- the beating heart of our local community and the place where pub classics meet plates locals can't get enough of.

Located on the footsteps of the Two Rocks marina with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean, Tavern At The Rocks gives a fantastic setting for our guests to enjoy their next day and evening out. The main bar, top bar, balcony & beer garden offers great food every day for lunch and dinner and you could be leading the Kitchen Team.

A day in the life of a Head Chef:

• Command the kitchen like it's your own, keeping it running smooth, safe, and profitable
• Be a key part of the leadership crew, working closely with the Publican and FOH team
• Share your passion, skills, and creativity to grow a high-performing kitchen team
• Keep the connection between the kitchen and front of house flowing with good vibes and great food every shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

• You've got trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications sorted
