Qualifications

• Proven experience as Restaurant Manager/Head Chef in busy venues.
• Strong culinary skills and food safety knowledge.
• Ability to lead kitchen and FOH teams.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking.
• Experience with budgeting and P&L.
• Excellent communication and customer-focus.
• Formal hospitality or culinary qualifications.
• Food safety certification.
• Flexible schedule incl. evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Experience with restaurant management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency with standards and recipes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across kitchen and dining areas.
• Control food and beverage costs through inventory management and supplier relations.
• Create and refine menus aligning with customer preferences and seasonal availability.
• Maintain exceptional customer service by monitoring dining experiences and addressing concerns.
• Manage kitchen staff including hiring, training, motivation, and mentoring.
• Maintain financial accountability through budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
• Source high-quality ingredients and materials at competitive prices.
