Mango Hill Tavern, part of Queensland Venue Co. PTY LTD, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and drive day-to-day operations of a busy, well-established venue in Brisbane's northern suburbs.

You will own the kitchen, train and coach your team, manage costs and inventory, and ensure food quality and hygiene standards across a varied pub menu. This hands-on role requires strong leadership and a passion for great food.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Head Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong leadership and coaching ability.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to jump on the tools when needed.

Mango Hill Tavern is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and drive the day-to-day operations of our busy, well-established venue. Recently renovated and located in Brisbane’s northern suburbs, Mango Hill Tavern is a popular local destination for great pub food, family dining, live sport and functions. We’re looking for a hands‑on leader who takes pride in their food, knows how to run a high‑volume kitchen and can bring out the best in their team.

About the role

As Head Chef, you’ll take ownership of the kitchen, leading your team through busy services and ensuring food quality, consistency and kitchen standards are always on point. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll play an important role in the overall success of the venue, balancing great food with strong team leadership and commercial results.
