Job summary

Endeavour Group’s Old Sydney Hotel in Maryborough is seeking a Head Chef to lead a busy kitchen, delivering pub classics with a modern twist and using premium Queensland produce.

You will own the kitchen operations, train and mentor a high-performing team, collaborate with the Publican and FOH, and drive safety, quality, and profitability on every shift. Trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage kitchen operations to keep the area running safely, smoothly and profitably
• Collaborate closely with the Publican and FOH team to ensure seamless service and great guest experiences
• Mentor, coach and develop a high-performing kitchen team with clear goals and accountability
• Maintain strong communication between kitchen and front of house to ensure consistent, high-quality food every shift
