Qualifications

• Have proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• Commercially minded with understanding of food costs and kitchen GP.
• Able to stay calm and organized in a high-volume environment.
• Passion for quality food and consistency.
• Takes pride in developing and supporting their team.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance.
• Creative, energetic and ready to lead the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing the kitchen team
• Creating and maintaining an exciting, quality-driven menu
• Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service
• Managing food costs, GP and kitchen budgets
• Ordering stock and managing supplier relationships
• Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
• Managing kitchen rosters and labour costs
• Training and mentoring junior chefs and kitchen staff
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
