Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management or equivalent; or 3+ years experience may be accepted in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen calmly and effectively.

Responsabilités

• Execute menu items, cook and present high-quality dishes under Head Chef.
• Manage mise en place and daily prep.
• Ensure recipe compliance and presentation standards.
• Run a kitchen station, manage stock rotation and minimize waste.
• Monitor quality, taste and temperature of ingredients and dishes.
• Maintain safety and hygiene according to food safety standards.
