A leading culinary organization is seeking a Head Chef to oversee culinary operations in South Brisbane. You will manage a high-volume kitchen, lead a diverse team, and ensure the highest quality standards in food preparation. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in kitchen management and a passion for culinary excellence. This role offers a competitive salary and prospects for career development.
Location: South Brisbane
Salary: $85,000 per annum
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday–Friday (with the occasional 4 weekdays plus one weekend day as required by business needs)

Operational Leadership: Drive the daily running of a high-volume kitchen with excellence, efficiency, and consistency.
Team Management: Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse, multicultural brigade, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
Financial Management: Control costs, manage budgets, and ensure profitability while maintaining uncompromising quality.
Full Back-of-House Accountability: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including production, compliance, hygiene, and logistics.
Menu & Product Excellence: Deliver innovative, high-quality dishes aligned with company guidelines and market trends.
Maintenance & Standards: Ensure all kitchen equipment, storage, and facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
Training & Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and skill development for all chefs and staff members.
Compliance & Procedures: Follow and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory, procurement, and safety protocols.
