Job summary

UNSW is recruiting for a role within the Graduate Research School to support the recruitment, admission and commencement of HDR candidates in industry-engaged PhD programs. You will advise applicants, coordinate scholarships, manage data, and liaise with Faculties and Schools on complex policies and requirements.

The position reports to the HDR Admissions and Scholarships Manager with a dotted line to the Senior Program Manager (Industry).

Qualifications

• Experience providing accurate advice and support in a complex administrative or policy environment.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex policies and legislation.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency across multiple university systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Advise applicants, candidates and supervisors on admissions, scholarships and industry engagement requirements.
• Coordinate scholarship payments and manage student data and admissions workflows.
• Work across multiple teams to improve admissions processes and systems.
• Provide high-quality service to industry partners and internal stakeholders.
