The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel (HD) Mechanics to join our client's project based near Mandurah. This is a great opportunity for trade qualified mechanics with proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment. Working on a 9:5 roster with 11 hour days, this role is suited to candidates who live within a reasonable travelling distance of Mandurah, as there is no accommodation on site, the luxury of being at home every night!

Pay rates: From $68.98 - $72.83 per hour

About You

• Relevant trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
• Proven experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment
• Experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing heavy mobile plant
• Experience working on equipment such as:
  • Dump trucks
  • Dozers
  • Loaders
  • Scrapers
  • Excavators
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• A reliable work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• The ability to travel to and from the project, as accommodation is not provided, there are bus options from Mandurah or Bunbury available.
