Job summary

Mader Group in Central Queensland / Bowen Basin is seeking Heavy-Duty Diesel Fitters for field service roles. FIFO from Brisbane or local applicants are encouraged, with a ute allocated for field duties.

You’ll work across leading OEMs and gain broad exposure to equipment across CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr. To be considered, hold a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent, with strong mining breakdown experience and a valid C Class licence.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
• RPL options available for eligible trades.
• Strong field service and mining breakdown experience.
• Experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi or Liebherr equipment.
• Mining experience is advantageous.
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
• Commitment to safety and ability to obtain Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical.

What You Will Need:

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, or an equivalent trade qualification. RPL options are available for eligible trades.
• Strong field service and mining breakdown experience preferred.
• Experience working with OEM equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, or Liebherr.
• Mining experience is advantageous.
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
• Strong initiative, problem solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or willingness to obtain them.
