Job summary

Seek.com.au in Sydney is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver and Heavy Rigid Driver with HIAB experience for local Sydney deliveries, with occasional trips to Newcastle, Canberra and Bathurst.

You will operate Heavy Combination and Heavy Rigid vehicles, use HIAB crane equipment, and securely strap loads while upholding road safety and reliability.

Qualifications

We are a small, family-owned transport company based in Ingleburn looking for an experienced and reliable Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver and Heavy Rigid Driver with Hiab Experience to join our team. The role is primarily local Sydney deliveries, with occasional trips to Newcastle, Canberra and Bathurst.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out local Sydney deliveries
• Undertake occasional trips to Newcastle, Canberra and Bathurst
• Operate Heavy Combination and Heavy Rigid vehicles
• Operate HIAB crane equipment
• Secure loads using straps and chains
• Maintain commitment to workplace and road safety

About you

• Proven HIAB crane experience
• Strong knowledge and experience in load restraint
• Good knowledge of Sydney roads and delivery locations
• Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic
• Physical fitness and ability to safely carry out the requirements of the role
• Current RMS Driving History Printout required as part of application
• Predominantly local Sydney work
• Occasional runs to Newcastle, Canberra and Bathurst
• Stable work with a small, family-owned transport company
