Metroll Toowoomba is seeking reliable HC Truck Drivers to join our team. You will deliver steel and building products to customers across Toowoomba and nearby areas, ensuring on-time, safe deliveries.

We welcome applicants with an HC licence and prior truck driving experience, a solid safety record, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Both full-time and part-time hours available; pre-employment screening may apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete customer deliveries across Toowoomba and surrounding areas.
• Safely load, secure and unload steel and building products.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report vehicle issues.
• Follow Chain of Responsibility and road safety requirements.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Communicate with customers and the team about delivery schedules.
• Keep your truck clean, tidy and well maintained.
• Assist in yard operations when not driving.

You’ll be delivering quality steel and building products to customers, helping keep orders moving and making sure every delivery arrives safely and on time.

What you’ll be doing

• Complete customer deliveries across Toowoomba and surrounding areas
• Safely load, secure and unload steel and building products
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report any vehicle issues
• Follow Chain of Responsibility and road safety requirements

What we’re looking for

You’re a dependable driver who takes pride in safe driving, looking after your load and providing great customer service.

You’ll have:

• Current HC licence
• Previous truck driving experience
• A strong safety record and understanding of load restraint
• Ability to safely handle physical tasks when required
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience transporting steel, building products or other heavy materials will be highly regarded.

Working arrangements
