Job summary

AGJ Cartage Contractors in Melbourne is seeking an experienced heavy combination driver to join our team. You will operate truck and dog combinations and handle trailer work with safety and pride in workmanship.

Ideal candidates hold a valid heavy combination license, can reverse without the dolly lock, and are willing to perform both truck/trailer and tandem work. Quarry experience is valued but not essential; immediate start with full-time hours and overtime available.

• Maintain clean, well-maintained vehicles and report any faults.
• Undergo pre-employment drug, alcohol and medical checks.

Job description

We are looking for a heavy combination driver to join our team.

This role is a great fit for you if you:

• Hold a valid heavy combination road ranger license
• Are an experienced driver who has driven and operated truck and dog combinations.
• Competent reversing without the dolly lock and can jack knife a trailer
• Happy to do a combination of both truck + trailer work and tandem work
• Quarry demand experience highly desired but not essential
• Willing to learn and take pride in your work
