Qualifications

• 1+ year experience operating tipper or heavy combination
• HC driver’s licence
• Road Ranger gearbox experience
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Knowledge of load restraint techniques and fatigue management

• Reliable and able to work independently or in a team
• Physically fit for outdoor work

Responsibilities

• Operate HC-class tipper trucks across quarry and construction sites.
• Secure loads to ensure safe transportation and compliance with road laws.
• Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks, reporting issues.
• Unload materials at designated sites using tipping mechanisms.
• Follow site traffic management plans and safety procedures.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and document trip logs and delivery records.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with site supervisors and resolve delays or access issues.
• Comply with company policies, traffic regulations, and fatigue management protocols.

Bang On Demolition & Earthworks Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Combination (HC) Tipper Truck Driver to join our team for ongoing projects across quarry and civil sites in Brisbane’s northside. You will be responsible for operating combination vehicles safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with site procedures and transport regulations.

Task & responsibilities

• Operate HC-class tipper trucks (truck + trailer combination) across quarry and construction sites.
• Secure loads properly to ensure safe transportation and compliance with road safety laws.
• Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections, routine maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Unload materials at designated sites safely and efficiently, using tipping mechanisms as required.
• Follow site traffic management plans and adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and assist in documenting trip logs and delivery records.
• Liaise with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any delays or access issues.
• Comply with company policies, traffic regulations, and fatigue management protocols.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience operating tipper or heavy combination
• Current HC (Heavy Combination) driver’s licence
• Experience with trucks and Road Ranger gearboxes is essential
• Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Sound knowledge of load restraint techniques, fatigue management, and vehicle safety
• Strong focus on workplace safety and compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Physically fit with the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
