Job summary

ACAM Logistics is seeking a reliable, motivated full-time HC semi-trailer truck driver to join our family-owned business. Role involves delivering timber across Sydney basin, Hunter, Outer Hunter, South Coast and ACT, with home every night and GPS-assisted navigation.

Must have minimum 2 years HC license and Australian citizenship. Base wage is $32/hr for the first 8 hours, with time-and-a-half after 8 hours and double time beyond 10 hours; 5-day work week with early starts and occasional late

Qualifications

• Must hold HC licence with minimum 2 years' experience.
• Australian citizenship is mandatory.
• Supply RMS driver history printout as part of on-boarding.

• Deliver timber to Sydney basin, Hunter, Outer Hunter, South Coast & ACT; cover all areas.
• Work independently, navigate deliveries with provided GPS.
• 5 days a week; home every night.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable full time HC semi-trailer truck driver to join our growing business. Friendly work environment & family owned and operated business.

Role will be carrying timber (which does not require tarping) to Sydney basin, Hunter, Outer Hunter, South Coast & ACT. Drivers must be willing to cover all areas.

Experience in carrying timber an advantage.

The prime mover is a Mack Granite with an open 45foot drop deck trailer.

Fork at each end to load and unload you.

5 days a week. Home every night.

You must be reliable, motivated, flexible, well presented, have good written and verbal communication skills as well as being a safe and responsible driver. You will be required to work independently and navigate your own way around to deliveries; a GPS is provided in the truck.

Early starts are required on some days and some late finishes.

The yard is based in St Marys, you must have your own transport to travel to and from there.

Wages calculated daily at - Base wage of $32/hr for the first 8hrs. Penalty rates for the next 2 hours at time and a half of $48/hr & any hours over 10 is at double time of $64/hr. Drivers currently average 10-12 hours per day.

Experience preferred with a minimum of 2 years HC license.

Candidates must hold a minimum of 2 years HC licence to be considered for this position.

Will be required to supply a full, up to date RMS driver's license history printout.

Australian citizenship is mandatory for this position.

This position is available to start on Monday 26th October 2026.
