Job summary

Workhorse Staffing is seeking an experienced HC Driver to join our well-established transport operation around Newcastle–Maitland, NSW. You will complete flatbed deliveries and work a 4-day week with Thursdays off, from 6:00am to 4:30pm.

The role requires a HC licence, forklift licence, and prior flatbed and multi-drop experience; Hiab is a plus. You’ll perform pre-start checks, load restraint, and coordinate deliveries with a supportive team. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Current HC Driver Licence.
• Current Forklift Licence with recent operating experience.
• Previous flatbed driving experience.
• Multi-drop delivery experience.
• Hiab experience highly regarded but not essential.
• Good knowledge of load restraint and safe transport practices.
• Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and good employment history.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to customer sites.
• Operate HC flatbed trucks.
• Safely restrain and secure loads.
• Load and unload using a forklift.
• Operate a Hiab crane where experienced.
• Complete pre-start checks and delivery paperwork.
• Maintain safe and professional driving standards.
