Job summary

Hornby Transport Services is seeking qualified HC drivers for local tipper work based in Newcastle/Unanderra. You will operate semi tippers to move freight to Sydney, Newcastle and rural areas, predominantly Monday to Friday with possible Saturday overtime.

A strong emphasis is placed on safety, load restraint and compliance with COR standards. Applicants should have a clean driving history, road ranger experience, and be capable of pre-starting vehicles, using in-cab technology, and managing

HC Drivers - Unanderra / Newcastle Based

Hornby Transport Services is seeking drivers to fill local HC tipper roles within the business. Working with a modern fleet and state of the art technology, you will be a part of Hornby Transport Services commitment to safety, sustainability, and efficiency.

What does the job look like?

The job involves operating semi tippers to deliver freight to and from Sydney, Newcastle and rural areas. This is a Monday to Friday position with some overtime Saturdays as required. Penalties paid on all overtime hours.

Key areas:

Participating and committing to safety standards and COR requirements at all times

Must have road ranger experience

Daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment

Complying with the HTS Operations, Policies and Procedures

Managing fatigue in line with relevant fatigue guidelines
