Job summary

WorkPac Group on the Gold Coast is seeking a reliable HC Driver to transport waste bins and operate a hook lift semi-trailer across the Gold Coast region. Monday to Friday, 6:00am start with 10–11 hour days. ASAP start in a stable local role.

You must hold an HC Licence, have reliable transport, and experience with hook lift trailers. Passing a Drug/Alcohol screen, pre‑employment medical, and police check is required. This local role offers $41.39 per hour plus penalties and shift allowances.

Qualifications

• Must hold an HC Driver's Licence.
• Reliable transport is required.
• Experience operating a hook lift semi-trailer is desirable.
• Must pass Drug & Alcohol screening and a pre-employment medical.
• Must be willing to obtain a Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Transportation of transfer station waste bins using hook lift semi trailer to and from waste and recycling centres across the Gold Coast region.
• Driving Hook Lift Trucks.
• Driving between sites in Gold Coast.
• Working with green organics.
• Using mechanical walking floors.

Its core activities include managing water treatment and distribution, collecting and recycling various types of waste (including hazardous), and producing renewable and low-carbon energy through services like waste-to-energy plants.

Duties

Shift Structure

Monday to Friday - 6:00am Working 10/11 hour days

Requirements

• HC Driver's Licence + reliable transport
• Previous experience operating a hook lift semi-trailer - desirable!
• Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol screening & Pre-Employment Medical Examination
• Must be willing to obtain a Police Check
• Reliability and great work ethic!
