Job summary

Randstad, Tanawha (Sunshine Coast) is seeking a qualified HC Driver for a temporary/ full-time role. You will drive a mixed fleet including tautliners and vacuum trucks, with safety-first practices and buddy training to learn the gear. Strong emphasis on reliability and on-time starts in a coastal community.

Applicants should hold an HC licence with a clean record, tanker or liquid waste experience is a plus, and DG licence is advantageous. MC holders welcome.

Qualifications

• Current HC (Heavy Combination) Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record (Essential).
• Experience operating Tankers (or liquid waste vehicles).
• Dangerous Goods (DG) licence is a strong advantage!
• MC Licence holders welcomed: No B-Doubles on-site, but MC to shunt/move trucks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a mixed fleet, including tautliners, Mini Vacs, and HR Vacuum Trucks.
• Provide safe, compliant transport for waste and liquids.
• Adhere to safety procedures and chain of responsibility requirements.
• Support buddy shifts and equipment onboarding as part of training.

Job Description

HC DRIVER | TANAWHA (SUNSHINE COAST) Looking for steady day shifts, great rates, and variety behind the wheel? We are currently seeking a qualified, safety-focused HC Driver to join a leading national waste and environmental management team based at their Tanawha depot!

Enjoy variety across a modern fleet-driving everything from tautliners to vacuum trucks-with comprehensive buddy training and a clear pathway to permanent employment.

The Details Pay Rate: $48.77/hr Start Time: 5:00 AM early starts

Hours: Consistent 8-10 hour days , Monday to Friday Weekend

Work: Occasional rotating Saturday shift (approx. once a month) Depot Location: Tanawha (Sunshine Coast) Fleet Variety: Drive and operate a mixed fleet, including Tautliners, Mini Vacs, and HR Vacuum Trucks
