What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is currently seeking an experienced HC driver with long distance driving experience to join their operation based in Oberon NSW. We are also considering applicants based in Orange/Blayney or Sydney. This is a day shift role where you will be delivering timber products between Oberon, Sydney and Newcastle. Shift time will commence from 5-6 am through to 5pm or as required. Overnight trips may be required as part of this role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver timber freight between Oberon, Sydney and Newcastle locations
• Daily prestart checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interior
• Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed
• Comply with Linfox’s coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus
