Job summary

K&S Corporation, via its Chemtrans division, seeks a safety‑minded driver with a Heavy Combustion license to deliver Dangerous Goods across Brisbane and occasional interstate routes. You will operate a side loader and assist with yard work to keep containers and trailers moving efficiently.

The role emphasises safety, compliance, and teamwork, with opportunities for career progression within a large, ASX-listed transport and logistics group.

Qualifications

• Valid HC licence with proven on-road driving experience.
• Skilled operation of side loaders for container pickup and delivery.
• Dangerous Goods licence.
• MSIC required/Willing to obtain.
• Commitment to safety regulations and fatigue management.
• Clean driving history with no major infringements.
• Punctual, reliable, responsible and positive approach to your working day.
• Ability to follow instructions, and to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Dangerous Goods across metro and intrastate routes, with overnight stays as required.
• Perform yard work including lining/cleaning containers and transferring trucks/trailers to maintenance facilities.
• Maintain safety practices and contribute to a safe workplace.

Chemtrans is a division of K&S Freighters and is a well-respected industry leader in the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of Dangerous and Hazardous Goods and chemicalsthroughout Australia.

The Opportunity:

In this role you’ll keep things moving by delivering DG products across the metro and occasionally the country road network. A key part of this role is the operation of a side loader, so experience and skill in this area are essential.

This opportunity is ideal for a team-player with a positive attitude ready to contribute and showcase their driving and safety skills!

You will be required to undertake occasional intrastate runs within Queensland, which will involve overnight stays away from home.

The successful applicant will also be required to do yard work which will include lining and cleaning containers and equipment and the transfers of trucks and trailers to maintenance facilities and sites.
