Tetra Tech Coffey provides high-end environmental, geotechnical, digital, and engineering design consulting services in Australia. This role sits within our national Workplace Health and Safety team in WA, where you’ll expand on hazmat and occupational hygiene site inspections, engage with clients and contractors, and manage projects end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in related science disciplines and/or occupational hygiene.
• Demonstrable experience in Hazardous Materials and/or Occupational Hygiene field.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on quality and delivery.
• Great communication, client relationship and teamwork skills.
• The ability to travel to regional and country sites as required.
• A commitment to safe, environmentally responsible project delivery.
• Hold a full Australian driver’s license.
• Be an Australian permanent resident or citizen (required for the Department of Defence).

Responsibilities

• Hazardous materials/asbestos assessments and inspections.
• Occupational hygiene monitoring and asbestos fibre counting.
• Managing field programs for a range of Built Environment investigations.
• Observing, guiding, and recording site remediation activities.
• Data management, interpretation, and quality assurance/quality control.
• Assisting with writing proposals, project correspondence and technical reports.
