Job summary

CE Group is seeking a Hazardous Area Electrician to join our Osborne Mine project on a FIFO 2:1 roster, earning $68.77 per hour plus penalties and allowances. You will install, test and maintain electrical equipment in hazardous areas, diagnose faults and interpret drawings to support project milestones.

Qualified electricians with EEHA competencies and a current license, plus experience in hazardous areas, are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification and a current electrical license applicable to the work location.
• Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) competencies relevant to the work.
• Practical experience with hazardous area electrical installations and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and maintain electrical equipment in hazardous areas within your competencies and authorisations.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs.
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Undertake inspections within your scope of competency and complete accurate inspection and testing records.
• Follow applicable electrical standards, hazardous area requirements and site procedures.
• Coordinate with other trades to meet project milestones.
• FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville only.
