Job summary

Darwalla Hatchery in Allora is hiring for a full-time position at our state-of-the-art chick hatchery. No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training; starting pay is $30.61 per hour with 4 x 9.5-hour days, starting at 5:30am, finishing early afternoon and three days off weekly.

Weekend work may be required. Candidates should be physically fit, reliable, and able to work safely in a busy poultry environment.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to stand all day.
• Willingness to work in a dusty and noisy poultry environment.
• Commitment to a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Egg setting and transfer tasks and related duties.
• Chick take-off, processing and cleaning tasks.
