Job summary

JBS Australia Dinmore Plant is seeking a full-time Harvest Supervisor (Kill Floor) to lead daily slaughter-floor operations and ensure high-quality products that meet customer and regulatory standards.

You will drive food safety culture, support team development, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain FSQA integrity and continuous improvement across shifts. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong communicator with safety and QA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the meat industry essential.
• Leadership experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication, delegation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making.
• Knowledge of safety, quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient computer literacy including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee slaughter floor operations to meet production, quality and regulatory standards.
• Lead, guide and develop team to achieve daily targets and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs, export requirements and FSQA procedures.
• Promote food safety, animal welfare and safe work practices across all activities.
