Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. Ramada Resort Golden Beach is seeking an experienced hands-on Handyman/Maintenance Officer to join the team.

The role involves maintaining rooms and grounds, inspecting faults, and assisting guests as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting, gardening, and general maintenance, with a flexible, can-do attitude and ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance is preferable.
• Must be able to work unsupervised and on rotating rosters.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail are essential.
• Proactive and professional in guest interactions.

How You’ll Shine

As a friendly and experienced maintenanceall-rounder to join our team. The successful candidate will assist our maintenance department and will preferably have experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting, gardening, and general maintenance.

• Maintenance of rooms/grounds
• Inspection & reporting of faults
• Reporting all maintenance issues as required
• Assisting guests when required

This is a busy hands-on role that requires a motivated can-do person with great time management skills and a desire to make the property the best it can be!

What You’ll Bring

• Enjoy multi-tasking and working in a dynamic and busy environment
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner that reflects the company in a positive manner
• Have a ‘can-do’ attitude, eye for detail and display enthusiasm at all times
• Previous experience within a hotel maintenance environment would be preferable.
• Ability to work unsupervised and an exceptional eye for detail are key requirements of this role.
• You will be required to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
