Job summary

Essity is seeking a Maintenance Leading Hand at our Springvale manufacturing site. You will oversee safe, reliable operation of assets, coordinate daily maintenance, and mentor trades personnel on a predominantly hands-on role.

Based at Springvale, you will spend ~80% on the factory floor troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment, with ~20% on leadership, planning and systems administration. This role offers a succession path to Maintenance Leader and exposure to TPM programs.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification and leadership experience.
• Experience with high-speed production equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and resources.
• Lead safety, environmental and housekeeping standards.
• Provide coaching and support to maintenance trades.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment faults to minimize downtime.
• Support preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance programs.
• Coordinate maintenance, shutdown planning and execution.
• Champion root cause analysis and equipment reliability improvements.
• Monitor SAP PM records and maintenance backlog.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve asset performance.
