Job summary

SNF Cleaning is seeking a Landscape Gardener to join the property maintenance team in New South Wales. You will perform skilled landscaping tasks including soil preparation, turf establishment, planting, and routine lawn care across multiple client sites.

Responsibilities include planning, site setup, soil improvement, plant propagation, and maintaining plant health while complying with safety standards. This role is full-time with 38 hours per week and attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Landscape Gardener.
• Sound knowledge of plant care, turf management, and landscape construction.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and machinery.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drafting landscape plans, selecting plants, and coordinating schedules.
• Setting out project sites and installing hardscape and softscape features.
• Improving soil structure through cultivation and fertilisation.
• Preparing seedbeds and planting areas for healthy growth.
• Propagating and establishing trees, shrubs, hedges, and bulbs.
• Maintaining lawns and landscaped areas through watering and mowing.
• Monitoring plant health and treating pests and diseases.
• Pruning trees to maintain health and appearance.
• Using chainsaws and tools to remove hazardous branches.
