Job summary

Sense Recruitment is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a major ERP replacement program in Australia. The role is hands-on, focused on engaging with business stakeholders, gathering requirements and ensuring the new ERP solution meets current and future needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with technology teams, partners and the business to translate complex requirements into practical outcomes across workshops, analysis and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on large ERP implementations, replacements or transformation programs.
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience documenting business processes, functional requirements and fit-gap analysis.
• Understanding ERP implementations from requirements and solution design through to testing and go-live.
• Experience working with implementation partners, vendors and technical delivery teams.
• The ability to work independently, quickly understand a business environment and make an immediate contribution.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate workshops to understand business needs, challenges and requirements.
• Gather, analyse and document detailed business and functional requirements.
• Map current-state and future-state processes, identify gaps and opportunities.
• Work with implementation partners to reflect business requirements in design.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and help stakeholders work through changes.
• Support testing, UAT and implementation activities; maintain requirements traceability.
• Build relationships across the business and drive decisions to keep the program moving.
