Job summary

W3Global in Victoria, Australia, is seeking a practical and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our small, hands-on maintenance team at a regional dairy production facility. You will help ensure production runs safely and efficiently, performing mechanical maintenance and fault-finding on food production equipment.

Your daily tasks include start-up, shutdown and changeover of production lines, preventative maintenance, and general site maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to manufacturing environments (food manufacturing desirable).
• Practical, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication across different roles and expectations.
• Current driver's licence essential due to location.
• Welding or fabrication skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• To work in a safe and standard way, and provide support for safe and standard work
• Daily start‑up, shutdown and changeover of production lines to ensure stable production cycles
• Mechanical maintenance and repair of food production equipment
• Preventative maintenance tasks
• Breakdown response and fault-finding
• Support general site maintenance as required, contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
